Hello fellow piggies,

We have come to warn you as we have heard there are other piggies on here (though we're not quite sure how) - beware the bad hay.

It all started earlier this week. Papa started giving us slightly smaller hay piles, which is obviously not acceptable, but when we wheeked papa just said that our 'delivery' wasn't coming for a few days. We didn't know what that meant, so of course we kept wheeking until the hay piles grew.

But then something terrible happened. The next morning, the hay boxes disappeared from next to our home! Papa kept telling us it's because we ate the hay too quickly and now it's gone. We think Papa just didn't buy enough.

Next thing we know, this thing arrives in the cage that is apparently 'hay' but it is nothing like our normal nice stalks! Apparently it came from a place called 'Wilko' instead of our usual hay box. It was not up to standard. We were very unhappy and we wheeked lots to make sure Papa was aware and could fix it.

Papa did eventually give us some veggies, which was a nice distraction for the five seconds it took us to demolish them

We have been complaining quite loudly until yesterday we heard Papa sigh loudly and tell us that fine, he would order some extra hay online to tide us over until the next hay box delivery. We weren't sure what that meant but it sounded promising.

Then an hour ago, a knock at the door came and a beautiful smell entered the flat! We got very excited and instantly ran up to investigate while papa opened the box

Our noses were right - hay! Beautiful hay! It's a new type that we haven't seen before but it smells divine.

We squeaked loudly until Papa finally opened the box and put the hay in the cage for us. We instantly ran into our trays and the paper bag and nommed away. It is delicious

We are very happy piggies.

Beware of the hay from 'Wilko' and make sure to wheek until your slave(s) gives in and get you special hay.

Wheek wheek,
Noodle and Tofu

Well done boys! I’m so glad you managed to get your Papa to order you some yummy nice new hay. Wilko hay sounds awful!
By the way you have both grown so much! It must be all that yummy hay!

Oh well done. It’s outrageous that you should have been given an inferior hay type at all. And now you have got the much better hay that you deserve. So it must mean that you did the right thing. This slave training can take ages. Slaves can be very slow on the uptake at times.

Excellent job boys! We had a very similar issue recently with our hay although it wasn’t from “Wilko” we are glad you are enjoying your new hay!

The Ever Beautiful Betsy is Shop Steward of the GPU and when I told her of your complaint about inferior hay she said that if your Papa hadn't listened to you and got you yummy hay to eat instead of inferior stuff she would have written to the Guinea Pig Union on your behalf. She has had to take up various issues for a number of guinea pigs on this forum.

We have been eating lots! Papa says we are both over 1kg now. When we first came home we were 800g. We are growing boys and need decent hay and we're glad Papa realises this now

Also, we've been told you made our tunnel. We love it! We are already starting our next campaign to get Papa to order us another one

We like the sound of The Ever Beautiful Betsy! We might be in touch.

(The boys have finally calmed down on the wheeking now they are happily buried in good hay, and the next haybox delivery is due on Wednesday. I have learned my lesson - no more hay from Wilko 😂)

Dear Noodle and Tofu,

We are so pleased all of your wheeking wasn’t in vain. Your voices were heard. Loud and clear and you got what you wanted. Excellent outcome.

Good luck with the continued slave training.

From Percy and Pepper
