I have a boar who’s about a year old.
last night, I noticed when I graze the area white by his tummy and back leg he does popcorning motions and I’ve never really noticed it before. Though I’ve never grazed it before.
he’s not yelping in pain, and everytime I touch the area he has popcorning fits and runs away.
Does it sound like pain..?

Most piggies don’t like being touched in that area. Its likely a startled jump rather than pain

He may be trying to kick you off.

Thank you all. He’s never really done it, but I’ve never really touched his stomach before. And he’s not crying and tolerated it as long as he got other strokes on his head or back. But when he’s had enough he jumps away and let’s me know.
so it’s good knowing hes not in pain!
