Glad you got something out of the appointment! Give him as much probiotic as he'll take. The fluids will beneficial if it does prove to be a UTI.

Oops just remembered I have no syringes only the ones with meds in. Will have to give him some in morning after his medication and will order some on-line for next time!

If you're desperate for syringes, you can buy 1ml syringes from Boots. They are about 40p each singly which is a rip off, but a good standby rather than waiting for postie. I told them it was for watering some tiny seedlings rolleyes

I managed to get about 4ml of probiotics down george give or take a few dribbles and green chin :)) do you think that is enough or should I try to make him take more?

Fingers crossed for george he seems much better this evening he has been wheeking for veg! He is still only eating a fraction of what he was but at least he is eating some. He ate half a stick of celery today and two thin slices of banana and half a carrot along with some hay but still no nuggets. He seems much more normal though and is sitting on top of his house again admiring the view which has been a good few days to week since!
