there is a question on the rabbit forum from someone sayin her vet has given her noromectin and said give one drop per piggy, but she has accidently given two drops to one pig. she wants to know if it will do her any harm?

i would assume double the dose is not a good thing. it contains ivermectin. i've never heard of noromectin though.

i'm not too sure, but what I would say is to avoid the next dose to be on the safe side

there isnt another dose?he only gave me enough to do them once?

oh right i see. Sometimes you are given a course of treatment you see.

As a one off overdose with no other dosages, I don't think there will be a problem. If it was me, I'd keep a close eye and make sure they have plenty to eat and drink, and phone the vet in the morning for peace of mind.

yea for mites?i cant find anything that states its for mites?

2 drops, 0.1ml, of Ivomec is safe. I would not be concerned. There is an adequate difference between the therapeutic dose and a lethal dose. Don't panic.
However, there is no antidote for an Ivomec overdose.
