Hi

Just checking in on the piggies tonight and Ginger has a scratch on his nostril - there’s nothing sharp he could’ve hurt himself on so I wonder if his hutch mate did it.....

I’ve cleaned it slightly with warm water, he seems really quiet 🙁

They were wheeking for each other and seemed more settled together.

Hi!

That look like a classic back foot swipe or glancing bite. Please disinfect with saline solution, which you make by mixing 1 teaspoon of salt into 250 ml =1/2 pint of boiled cooled water. See a vet promptly if it looks infected.

it sounds rather like your boys have had a bit of a tussle.
You may find this guide here helpful:
Bonds In Trouble (for piggies of all ages)
Boars: Teenage, Bullying, Fighting, Fall-outs And What Next? (specifically for teenage boys between 3-14 months)
