One of my boys is still dropping the occasional bits of root vegetable out of their mouth when eating. A visit to the vet back in the middle of June proved inconclusive, and both youngsters have continued to gain weight at a steady pace since the visit.

It is still happening occasionally - although not every time they get beetroot or carrot as a treat so I'm keeping an eye on things.

This morning I attempted to crack which of my boys it was that is dropping their vege. I divided the run, provided them with half a small carrot each and put one boy each side of the divide. That didn't last long! Young Brunel pushed with way down the smallest of gaps between a box and the run wire to join his companion. Back to the drawing board on that one.

Hormones have also hit - so whilst they seem desperate to be together there is some chasing and challenging going on. Boys! I hope it passes fairly swiftly, there's been no teeth chattering or serious challenging yet.

Typical piggies, I remember once when treacy was poorly with bloat we divided her and Cookies cage so we could monitor poo output. We were overjoyed to walk in and see a fully formed poo. Then saw a fully formed Cookie sitting next to her sister in the sticks :))

Hope you can get to the bottom of the food dropper, hopefully the hormonal phase will pass quickly for them, they sound very close to each other which is lovely :)
