I'm sorry it's really frustrating when no matter what you do your pigs just keep having problems.
I myself recently had a bad case of lice and mites luckily it was not to tricky to treat and I'm hoping it will stay away this time.

We only have Oxbow Essential here I think so that is all I have looked at so far, though I know at one point they did an organic one called Benne Terra or something like that which wasn't too bad. As far as I am aware Oxbow is better than a lot of British brands and the calcium isn't too high, and neither is the protein. It does have a few debatable ingredients though such as molasses and soya and grains of course.

On another forum I am on I think they were looking at a pellet called Farmer Dave or something like that which was American and very natural but the shipping to the UK was huge so they didn't look into it anymore. Have a look around and see if any are grainless, you can always message me to see what I think of the ratios etc.
Thank you so much Hellen I will look at some other brands when I hit the shop next. There is a smaller one that had a different brand I hadn't heard of.

Keep your chin up Kell. You are an excellent piggy mummy and this sounds like a rotten case of bad luck! I know the boys will get A star care whatever they need, lets just hope it's easily treated! x
Thank you Ruth and Angela, your kind words mean a lot, I'm ordering the Dip Helen has told me about in a mo so I hope that helps. X

I found this little patch this morning, it's not crusty or dry just missing hair. It's the only one and it's where I saw him biting. His fur does not come out if gently pulled I'm guessing this is a good sign :)

Poor little guys! Hope they are better soon and you can enjoy happy little pigs!

Lots of healing vibes sent, you have had such a tough time. They are lucky to have such a good mum looking after them

Thank you sport_billy this is lovely to hear as Ive felt bad that he's ill again.
I've been questioning what I've done wrong that's caused him to get it again or maybe he was not fully recovered from last time. I'm going to use the Dip our lovely Helen told me about and hopefully I will then be able to put this whole ringworm nightmare behind me. :)

It is but you may have trouble getting it without a prescription, Hyperdrug sell it specifically for small animals without a prescription but not under the Imaverol brand (the one on my link).

It is a horse and sheep dip, but very gentle and can be used on baby pigs.

Great thanks Helen, i just saw it on the same site as the heat pads so would of been a help saving on the p&p but I'm unsure if it will let me order as haven't tried so I will just order the one you said via your link. Thank you again Helen :)

You've done nothing wrong at all, it is just one of those unfathomable things... I have felt like this sometimes with Cookie recently as she is our 2nd one to have odd dental issues, but I ended up thinking that I am lucky we got her otherwise she could be with someone not really looked after and be dying cause people don't always notice.
Your boys may be going through this awful bad patch but you are there to help them, you should be very proud of all you have done, because you are a credit to yourself x

Oh thats really lovely thank you @sport_billy :) I do try my best and the support on here is fantastic. I find it very rewarding to see my boys clearly happy and knowing just as I'm sure you do with your piggies that they are in good hands with people who love them and care for their welfare. I hope cookies dental issues are all sorted now or they continues to improve.
Kell.
