Hi All,

Fleur and Flora aren't eating as much in the day, they will eat dried and I usually feed them three different types of veggies, top up their hay rack and dried mix and change the water until tea time when I do the same at 5pm. The problem is they are not eating the veggies in the morning, they will eat them at 5pm but in the morning they seem sleepy like they have been partying all night :o So I was thinking would it make sense to feed them around lunchtime instead of first thing and then around 8pm when they seem more active. It makes sense to me as the morning veggies are being wasted and aren't doing nothing for them.

Any advice?

Thanks!

Hm......I only give them wet food once a day, it works for my guineas and they are in perfect helath. It could just be that theyre getting older and less active, or they could have a minor virus that is making them inactive. As long as theyre eating some, they should be fine.

Hi Rachey,

Thanks for replying. :) The boys are settled in a twice daily routine which is why I carried it on with the girls. The girls are only 3 months old and do eat, they ate their tea last night. I think they are up all night as the hutch is always 'different' come mornings. So I'll feed about midday and see how that goes.

I guess its just a matter of getting to know them and there little ways.

Thanks again and have a good day!

Louise
