My piggy loves his veggies so much, but he will never eat his dry food.

He just shoves his head in the bowl, knocks out the food and only eats on kind of pellet from the whole pack.

I pander to him being fussy, and just keep filling it up but obviously he doesn't eat most of it and it gets thrown away!

If I leave him with the food he doesn't normally eat, will he gradually eat it because he has no choice? or do i keep pandering to him like I do at the moment?

Thanks :)

our two can sometimes be a bit fussy and i would pander to them more than OH would but i have learned to leave them with what they have as they eventuially realise we aint wrapped round their piggies claws and will eat everything if there is nothing better on the go :))

Okay thanks, i'll give that a try.
I always feel so mean leaving him knowing he won't eat any of it, I suppose that's his fault for being fussy lol (and my fault for spoiling him so much..it's so hard not to though!)

I wouldn't worry - pellets are the least important part in their diet; some vet and forums on the continent actually recommend leaving it out, provided that you feed a healthy mix of veg!
