Just a quick post. Puy my two out to graze for an hour and one isn't eating at all. Is this normal? Could she just be not hungry. She had a few pellets in the morn . But havnt seen if she's eaten through the day. She's just sat there under the tunnel for an hour?

I put her back and she ate a few leaves of spinach. ... she seems a little quiet but she's the very shy one so it's hard to say. Should I be looking at any signs in particular? I had to give her a very quick brush in a cosy bag as she absolutely hates it so it's the only way to keep her still. But that was after the not eating grass. Off work tomoz so can keep a bit more of an eye on her but she hides alot so can't see much

It depends if that is what she's usually like. Mine seem to gobble for a while but then they just laze about mostly with random snack times. Has she got a favourite veg? Maybe try that. is she eating hay? Check for poos if possible. If I am concerned with any of mine I check them over physically, then listen to breathing for any odd sounds, keep an eye out for poos/wees, and how much they are eating. Also a good idea to start weighing daily at the same time if you think something is not right.

Only just seen this tag. Any sudden change in behaviour in piggies is my prompt to take them to the vets. Piggies need to eat constantly so any period of not eating is a worry and indicative of a problem. If you are home today watch carefully to see if she's eating and pooping normally. If not, please get her seen by a vet today.

As normal it's pooring down. Put nuggets in today and left her eating from the bowel so fingers crossed. She is pooping ok I think as there were loads left where she was on the grass... I don't think all them were from the other . Thank for all your help. I will feed her a few leaves later n chk she still eats them ok.
