Not eating properly

Hi, I was wondering if any of you could help me.
My guinea pig is 3.5 years old, since the day I got him he has had pellets in the morning and variety of veg at night, all of his pellets are always gone by the evening as he is generally waiting for me by his bowl in the mornings. But he has stopped eating his pellets altogether, he is still eating his veg, which I have given him more of to cover him not eating pellets, he is drinking and hasn't lost any weight. Do you think that he just doesn't fancy his pellets or do you think there could be something wrong? I have checked his front teeth and they are fine.
Any comments would be welcome.

Does he have an unlimited supply of hay?
He can't just live on veg alone - Where about do you live? Somebody may be able to reccommend you a good cavy vet to take him to check his back teeth etc.
For now I'd make his pellets into a paste by adding some warm water and syringe feeding him.

Is he dribbling at all?
What is he fed?
 
Yes he has plenty of hay and he hasn't got an upset tummy which I thought he might get if he was just eating veg, he eats p@h guinea pig pellets and always has done without any problems. This is a sudden probelm though so do you think it could be his back teeth? I would have though it would have been more of a gradual problem? I am in Ruthin north wales. He is a fairly good guinea pig and lets me do most things, I have looked at his back teeth before so I may try and have another look.
And no he isn't dribbling, in himself he looks fine, talking and bimbling along as usual.

It may be a dental problem, but its hard to say. Any problems with eating then i would see a vet to at least check his back teeth out (these are the one's which cause problems usually)

Over the weekend I did a complete cage and pig tidy. I emptied his entire cage and scrubbed it clean, cleaned his bowl and bottle and toys. Took him and gave him a bath, which is has never had before but seemed to thoroughly enjoyed, clipped his nails and let him run round in the living room until he was thoroughly dry, I packed his bedroom to the roof with hay and gave him fresh food and water and fingers crossed it seems to have done the job, he did eat a lot of veg whilst he was in the house so he may have been full but there were definately less food in the bowl when I went back out to him later on that night and he was sat his hay hanging out of his mouth.
So I think he may have just been feeling a bit down and a good clean of everything has done the trick. We will see tonight when I go home if he has eaten all his pellets.
