Hello! We are from Brazil and we're looking for help. Me and my little girl are together for 5 years right now and she stop eating; we started to give her processed vegetables till we find a vet and so, her teeth grew up. We went to a vet, she had the teeth procedure (molars included) one week ago but my girl still can't eat. The vet said that she kinda used to the processed food on her mouth. But she didn't even look for food even if she still hungry for a couple hours and having the same processed food available. She have hay available 24hrs day and her fav veggies, but she don't eat it anymore.
We are using critical care and extra vitamins with the processed vegetables , 3 different pain medication + probiotics + one medication for intestinal gases.
I need some advice cuz we don't know what we can do.
Thank you for your attention

A guinea pig who is able to eat, will eat. So it’s not entirely likely it’s because she’s used to processed food. It’s more likely it’s due to the fact that there is still something wrong in her mouth which is stopping her from eating Hay for herself. And unfortunately that also has a knock on effect - the longer she goes without eating hay, then her teeth will overgrow again.

what medication is she being given?
id suggest you take her back to the vet

are you weighing her daily? if not, please do so. Weighing her every day means you are able to ensure you are definitely getting enough fibre rich recovery feed into her. Its the fibre which will keep her gut functioning correctly
