I think a trip to the vets to check the back teeth. Would be my guess.

I'm guessing teeth burrs and spurs.

Hi Andy, welcome to the forum.

How old is your guinea? Has she always eaten so scarcely, or has she eaten well until now? Does she live alone?

Hi Andy!

Are you weighing your piggy daily to know whether or how much weight she is losing? Have you had her long and is her loss of appetite sudden?

Here is a list of possible causes for loss of appetite, but I would strongly recommend that you see a vet!

it is under 2 months old.
its my daughters who lives away so I dont know if she's weighing it but thats good advice.
she has only had the guinea a week or so but the pet shop say it was taking pellets and drink OK before but feeding and drinking since she has had it have remained the same.
the guinea is on its own.
thanks both for your replies
