Lately I've been noticing Penny sleeping outside of her hideout. I thought she was getting too big for her current one so I got her 2 bigger hideouts but she's only looked in them and still sleeps outside. Is there a reason she's suddenly sleeping out of hideouts?

My boar did this as he got more trusting towards us. It is a confident pig to sleep outside a hidey. Put it this way. If they were scared or sick, they would be inside of it

Savour the fact she's doing it. It means she's more trusting and confident, as @SkyPipDotBernie says. My girls will now sometimes sleep unhidden, next to their ikea bed. I always manage to supress the squeals of excitement! :D
