We've been feeding our 2 piggies (14 weeks old) on Pets at Home nuggets as that's what they were used to in the pet shop. However they don't seem that keen on them as there's always loads left in the bowl. We've tried putting less in the bowl, and replace them all at night and top up in the morning. Some days they seem to eat more than others. So thinking about swapping nuggets. Can anyone suggest a good brand? Just ordered Harringtons on Amazon but can change my order if I get a different recommendation! Thanks.

I use a mix of science selective, Burgess excel (normal mint), Tesco nuggets (just a little filler, will probably stop that soon) and I've just ordered Harringtons too. I think that a mix will help keep them open to change, just in case a brand suddenly stops making nuggets... The fear of change is real!

Mine are on Natures Feast, which you can get from Pets At Home. They love it.

My boars love the Burgess with mint. You'd think they were a treat the way they react to getting them actually, it's really comical. And cute.

Our sows are also on Burgess Mint. I did buy a bag of P@H and mixed them together for a few weeks, but they just left them and ate the Burgess ones!

I swapped from the pets at home ones to harringtons and there was an immediate change, empty bowls every time! 2 of our girls who keep getting ill are getting very fussy with their food now so ive ordered various hay pellet things to try them on from Galens Garden. Hopefully they go down well! But the other 2 still empty the harringtons like theyve not been fed in 6 months.

I've still got a 3\4 of bag of pets at home nuggets that l bought ages ago mine don't seem to be that fussy

I do a regular swap with mine to keep them interested after having the same thing a few years ago. I have a big metal dog food big where I keep the nuggets so I mix P@H and Burgess in, then when it's running low I'll mix either P@H nuggets with another one or the Burgess with another brand. It keeps the food changing but the pigs always have something that they're used to so it doesn't hurt their tummies. Right now it's a mix of P@H nuggets and some other type of food which is mostly dried grasses, hay and little nuggets. I've forgotten the name! It's an orange/white packet with a fluffy ginger piggy on it.
They also really enjoy Natures Feast, it's mostly nuggets but it comes with dried grasses and bits of carrot? in it too. >Click here for a link to it on PAH store<

I got a new bag of Pets at Home Guinea pig pellets. Granville and Marlow used to eat them mixed with Burgess and or Science Selective/Harringtons. But now they leave the Pets at Home pellets.
