Hello! I was able to let my guinea gals free roam for a long time, and vacuuming. In June, I had a surgery. Before that surgery, I deep-cleaned the rug, found out how disgusting it was from that free roaming (i was vacuuming every time and spot cleaning when I could). I also found out I was allergic to carpet cleaner. Obviously I cannot let them free-roam anymore and since this was so close to my surgery, I couldn't build a new cage immediately to accommodate them.
Well, now I'm recovered almost entirely (cleared on Friday, thank god!) and I was wondering what amount of space to give them, considering this now. What would y'all recommend? I have a C+C cage and a ton of extra coroplast and grids to make into a new something and I really wanna make this the best version of their cage. Currently each pair of gals (I have 4 in total) has 10.5 ft of room to roam around (3 grids by 2.5 grids, each one is 14 inches) and I wanna make this at least a grid or two longer. I also can move furniture around to make it even bigger if possible but it's on a table so I'd have to modify said table. Any advice would be appreciated! Thank you!
