So! Who else has piggies that refuse to hide under hay and just sleep on top of it? No matter what kind of hay or the amount I just find them on top of it... anyone had luck sorting this out? They're in heated shed, so it's ok. Just don't understand why they wouldn't hide under it...

Mine didn’t used to. I think it was because the hay I used to have was quite short and difficult to tunnel in.

It may be because they’re in a heated shed - it’s warm enough that they don’t want a pile of hay on top of them?

Hi, I hope so. With weather like this I would prefer if they've stayed under the hay!
I've given them different types of hay, with the same result so guess they just like to sleep on top!

I know the feeling! But even when I open the lid to one of their houses when they’ve flattened the hay, the warmth inside is very noticeable
