Not so subtle hint

Dear fellow piggies of forumland,

As some of you know Pebble and myself have been moved into a house! On fleece! This has been amazing. We thought we were spoilt before but this is proper luxury.

Anyway Pebble and I thought we might get tons more snacks living inside with our slave. But unfortunately this has NOT happened.

So this evening we gave our slave a not so subtle reminder that our pea and pellet bowl is remaining empty for way too long.

Dear Pepper and Pebble

I am delighted to learn that you are now living in the lap of luxury indoors and that you are very happy with this arrangement apart from lack of noms.

It is clear to me that your Slave is not in the habit of giving you some eats because you've been living outside. Now you live inside you need to rectify this. You don't state what the "not so subtle reminder that our pea and pellet bowl is remaining empty for way too long" was, so I will have to take you right back to basics on this.

I've had a quick look in the booklet "How to get more food out of your Slave" and page 1, paragraph 1, subsection 1a states that "should your Slave not be in the habit of feeding you yummy snacks, you need to change this" It goes on to say how you should go about this.

1. Wheek whenever your Slaves walks by your cage/hutch.
2. Wheek whenever you hear the fridge door open.
3. Wheek whenever you hear your Slave come through the front door.
4. Wheek whenever you hear a knife on the chopping board.
5. Wheek whenever you feel hungry.
6. Wheek whenever your Slave in on the phone.
7. Wheek whenever your Slave is trying to watch the strange box in the corner with moving pictures and people talking on it.
8. Wheek whenever you feel like it really.

Your Slave will be so fed up of you wheeking she will throw some food in your general direction just to shut you up.

Hello Miss Bramble,

Thank you so much for the swift reply. If you look very closely you will see we pooped in the bowl .

Pebble is the “wheeker” and has already been referred to as “the noisy ” by the maintenance man, aka slaves husband.

He has referred to me as “the one who has his nuts out all the time”. I’m not sure what nuts are but I’ll let that go for now.

Anyway, Pebble has definitely completed most of your points. He just has 2, 6 & 7 to wheek at. Give him time as it’s only been a week and a half.

Dear Pepper and Pebble,

I'm sorry you are being starved by your slave. However I'm not sure that you are right in suggesting that pooping in the bowl is a subtle hint that you need more noms - or at least it's not a hint all slaves can understand. I used to finish off my husboar Squeaks' critical care then leave poop in the dish, but I'm sure at least once I heard my slave mutter "They seem to be learning to poop mostly in one place at last - hooray!". You may need to adjust your tactics and add some of Miss Bramble's tips to get your nom quota raised.
