Not Using Water Bottle

My boys have 2 water bottles in there cage. One large size and one medium. For some reason they have stopped using the large one. I keep cleaning it out with plain water and changing the water but still they won use it. I even tried letting them empty the medium to see if they changed over to the large but they wouldn't. Any ideas?

Maybe the other one is just their favourite. If they are drinking water then I would not worry.

mine prefer one bottle over the other aswell. i still offer two though and at different heights just incase. they usually just use the higher one though.

I have 2 boys so put a water bottle at each side of the cage - exact same water bottles, exact same height. Some days they prefer the right one, some days the left and very occasionally they actually drink out of both. No telling with piggy preferences but as long as they are drinking I shouldn't worry. Keep offering both though, they may surprise you & suddenly switch to the other one for a while.

The other possibility may be that the larger size has a sipper too big for their liking?
