Just checked on Snowball to find that he had poos stuck up him bum, with white creamy discharge and it stinks! Around a month ago he had this discharge which we had to get rid of by using tweezers.
But today i had to squeeze the poos out and once i did that he had access discharge? A little worried. What is this?

Thank goodness we booked him into the vets tomorrow for 4:30pm, which was for his urine scalds.

I'm wondering whether he had poo stuck due to the fact he hardly moves around during the day?

But now i feel a little sick haha, better get used to this for collage in September!

The boars I've had who've suffered impaction also have a bit of a creamy discharge around some of the caecotrophs. Yes, caecotrophs do reek to high heaven, sounds like it could be impaction but best get him checked with the vet if you're worried.

Thank-you will he be okay waiting till tomorrow afternoon? His eating etc and seems fine. Wasn't very pleasant at all!

Check morning and night and help him by manipulating his poops out.....
Good luck at the vets with Snowball XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Back from the vets- Snowball doesn't have impaction she said sometimes they can have occasions where the poop just clumps together as they're soft, she felt all around his stomach and theres nothing to worry about- she suggested Hibiscrub to clean around his bum when it's looking abit dirty.

As for his urine scald she can't do anything for him at the moment as the skin isn't broken. If she did give him some cream its more likely to make him worse as it makes the skin thinner and also contains steriods. So therefore theres nothing we can do.

Our vet also mentioned the fact he was looking a bit 'rounder' so she weighed him and he has put on a bit of weight-so gotta to keep an eye on that! rolleyes
