Just went out to add two of the four snugglesafes into the boys hutch (the other two I do in another few hours time so they get maximum amount of time of warmth over night). I had to dislodge two warm and comfy piggies from their beds to put the snugglesafes in and boy did they give me an ear bashing for asking them to move! Such characters!

I'm sure my piggies swear at me too, even mild mannered Jezebel when I tipped her (and 3 hours worth of wee and poops) out of her seagrass playpen house this afternoon to put her back in the nice clean cage!

We should be truly ashamed of ourselves for wanting them to be warm, dry and clean!

They’re so funny! I'm sad that I haven’t kept them long before now, I feel like I’ve been missing on such fantastic little characters! I’ve always had rabbits but I’ve never had that kind of attitude from them!

It's so funny when the pigs are unimpressed, you can seriously tell when they are annoyed at their pig slave 🤣🤣 I was giving Honey chin rubs earlier and when I stopped to post an Instagram she started teeth chattering at me, when I started rubbing her chin again it stopped! Honestly think these pigs get more and more demanding 😂😂

I think they’ve forgiven me. I just went out to put the other two snugglesafes in and the hutch temperature is two degrees warmer now than it was three hours ago despite it being two degrees colder outside (just 2 degrees outside now and the general hutch temperature is 12, but it is a few degrees warmer than that in their bedroom) so they have come to the conclusion that my awful behaviour was actually for their benefit!

Mine get outraged if they dont get grass at precisely 0730am every morning. It was tough trying to explain to them this morning that the grass was frozen and they couldnt have any. The racket they made was unbelievable! How can something so tiny be so demanding?

One of ours has a habit of chattering his teeth if you stop stroking him and stroke his age mate. Soon as you go back to him he stops 😒 He’s also quite demanding. Will not move away until he thinks he’s had enough of your scratching. And bites the bars at feeding time - he’s the only impatient one 🙄

Laine has just started cage biting at feed time, so impatient 🙄🙄😂😂

If I go out in the back garden and dare to return without a huge pile of fresh grass I get told off in no uncertain terms.
The piggies haven't yet grasped the concept of 'no grass in Winter becasue it's under a foot of snow'.
According to them if I was a devoted slave i could alsways dig for fresh grass :))

I've just been well and truly disciplined by all 5 of mine for cutting their nails... Apparently a whole little gem lettuce to chomp away at isn't enough of a distraction. Bobby was chattering at me, while digging in to the lettuce, then snatched a bit out of my hand, which I was moving closer to him, and bit my thumb in the process! No blood drawn though, so I suppose that means our bond isn't broken :))

Well obviously! Why else would you go up the stairs except to pander to your piggies every need?
I mean how dare I want to just go into my bedroom, or use the bathroom, what an outrageous thought! 😱 They even tried tricking me tonight telling me PigNan hadn't given the veggies whilst I was out! Such little fibbers!

Absolutely as a piggy slave you are clearly failing in your duty. I may have to report you to the GPU (Guinea Pig Union).

Bill and Ted will give me, what I call a “side shuffle” with their back leg if you try and hand feed them something that’s not completely fresh (but perfectly fine for us humans!) I’ve never had animals do that ever, they are so cheeky and know exactly what they like (M&S, if possible!)

Mine insist on the Asda "extra special" pointy red peppers now... thanks piggy daddy for training the piggies to eat stuff I'd consider too expensive to buy for myself! The hoomans eat the cheapest basics range or whatever is on special offer...

I’m quite grateful my husband doesn’t go into supermarkets all that often!

I bought a bag of oxbow Timothy hay/orchard grass blend but only as a treat because it’s twice as expensive as the Timothy I normally buy but I have never seen piggies or bunnies go so mad for a particular hay that they now wont eat the normal Timothy I buy and now I’m stuck buying the expensive stuff! I’m just glad my bedding hay is so cheap from the farm that it kind of offsets it!
