My name is Lisa and I have a four month old boar named Terra. I noticed that he is not eating alot of timothy hay. How can I get him to eat more?

Is he eating any other hays? And his pellets/mix?

Does he manage to pick up food very well? If you weigh him and keep a close eye on his weight you will be able to tell if he is eating enough. If he is losing any weight or not. If you are worried he is not eating enough then best to pop to the vets and get his teeth checked out.

Does he have a friend? May help him to ask around at a rescue for another boar, piggies are socialble creatures and usually enjoy each others company as well as ours.

Welcome to the forum.

x.
