I'm now up to six piggies who are fed fresh fruit and veg twice a day including apples, pears, peppers, carrots, brocolli, cucumber etc. They always empty the bowl but are not eating much dry food. They also have access to lots of hay and also two bucket loads of fresh grass a day. Because they always eat everything I'm getting concerned that I'm not giving them enough so how much do they eat....

Sounds like you're feeding plenty! If they are still hungry, they have to go and eat dry food. To encourage them, you could feed them their pellets first thing and vegetables only after they have tucked into the pellets!

Dry food is the least important part of the diet, after hay and fresh fruit and veg, so I wouldn't be too worried that they're not inclined to eat much dry food. As long as they're all happy and healthy, and the little ones are gaining weight, there's not a problem there. :)

mine eat all there veg and hay in day time and eat dry food though the night usually half a bowl is gone but its usually been nudge over the side so they can get there fav bits:(|)

Mine eat their dry mix but not loads of it. When I put fresh out 3 times a day they tuck in but then just leave it haha. XD

Mine eat more dry food during the winter, as they get grass in summer. At the moment they eat pellets more overnight than during the day. (With the notable exception of Nerys, who's just stuffing herself and growing as you watch...)

mine are chubby little piggys, especially my black and tan sow who was starved her sister died cos they were left to a 9yr old boy to feed, she now eats everything in site but is sooo timid bless her, does grass contain vit c.:red
