I thought I'd share with you this amusing happening. So a month ago whilst claw cutting I found this lump on one of my rodent's nipples and freaked out thinking it was cancer however when I checked a few days later to see if it had grown it had in fact gone! & then I checked the day after that to make sure I wasn't blind and just missing it but nope, the lump had totally vanished. My reckoning is that it was sh*t stuck to her. Very convincing sh*t though.

Bad news. The lump has reappeared!

When I touch it it feels hard, dry and crispy. What do you think it could be?

It can't be poo in the same area twice.

Does it move if you gently push it a bit? Just wondering if it would come free like the last time and if it did you could drop it in water and see if it's a poo or not. Sorry that sounded disgusting

lol. I'm going to take another look at it this weekend and give it another prodding if it's still there. I was tempted when I saw it again to pull it hard to see if it would come off but was worried about hurting her and doing more harm than good. It's quite peculiar that it should vanish and then come back. Anyway I'll report back here after the weekend, you never know, it may be gone again, lol. Thanks.

Another case of 'now you see it, now you don't'. I looked again on Friday night and it had vanished again. Hmn. Both nipples looked like they were ever so slightly crusty where the protruding bit is joined to the body, certainly nothing major though, just a tinsy bit.
