Nuggets or Muesli?

We used to feed the guineas musesli until we discovered nuggets about 2 years ago!
Fudge had a tendency to only eat the colourful pieces & leave the rest so nuggets seemed ideal to stop the selective feeding.
What's everyone else's opinions?

& if you use nuggets,, which ones do you think are the best?
 
I use the Burgess excel ones. My lot just used to eat bits of the muesli and leave the rest
 
Nuggets are best as they are a complete food and do not allow selective feeding.
 
yes i use nuggets too, the pets at home ones, for piggies, we used to use muesli, but they were picky too with it.
 
I use the pets at home nuggets but I'm not wanting to go back there so I'm looking for an alternative!
I think the Burgess Excel ones sound like they'd be a good alternative.

I have mine on Burgess Excel mine love it :)
 
I use nuggets/pellets as piggies have a tendancy to eat selectively if they get muesli...

I usually alternate between Burgess Excell and Supreme Science Selective. The SS is much better and more popular in general but, as with anything, the boys get bored of it eventually so then we switch.
 
My Tribe went off Burgess Excel after a year, so they are currently on a mix of p@h pellets and Burgess black currant and oregano with a tiny bit of muesli mixed in (just a pinch for those who love to pick and choose).

I try not to get them used to one variety too much as I have had problems in the past when their pellets were not available/in stock at times and they didn't like any of the supermarket alternatives I could lay my hands on in a hurry.
 
I also switched to nuggets, primarily because of selective feeding. I find Burgess Excel are most widely available to buy in stores and these would be my personal preference but my pigs went off them. They're now on Wagg Optimum, which they love, but it's a pain to find it around here. As an occasional treat I'll give them some flaked peas as they're the bits they loved the most in their old muesli mix and they go absolutely mad for them!

I've noticed that quite a few piggy rescues use muesli mixes, which I find surprising. (Not a dig, just an observation!) :)
