Ever since I have had guinea pigs, I have always fed Wagg guinea pig crunch and had no problems.
For the last 4 years, I have provided a bowl of Wagg and a bowl of nuggets for my girls to eat. As they get board of nuggets, I swap and change ranging from Excel, pets at home, Harringtons and Science Selective.
However, I am finding that their nuggets are starting to go either untouched or slightly nibbled at whatever brand they have. I am having to refill their Wagg bowl in the evening and the nuggets are being thrown away.
I like the idea of them having nuggets in their diet but as I am throwing most of them away, I am wondering if I should just ditch the nuggets altogether and just feed them the Wagg? If so, would I just stop giving them the nuggets?
I have also tried mixing the nuggets in with the Wagg but they still leave them mallethead
As Ellie is finally starting to put weight back on after her recent weight loss, I would rather not risk feeding them nuggets only in the hope they will eat it when they are hungry.
