Are grainless nuggets healthy for your piggy, if they are could anyone recommend a brand. Also are they expensive.

Grainless nuggets are better for your piggies,it mimics a more natural diet, the pellets are bigger and more expensive but you need less of them.Zooplus do a selection, bunny .basic dream,(Bunny is the name of the german company),JR Grainless, versa laga do a pellet that is grainless.in the uk ,Rosewood do a grainless food, you can get this on amazon, viovet, hay experts, pets at home.it helps with piggies that are prone to bladder stones, and bloat issues.not all piggies will eat them.Hope this helps.:)

I switched from Burgess to the Versele Laga Cavia Complete. It is more expensive but I feel better feeding them it!

Zooplus do 2 1.75 kg bags for £14.99 which works out at £4.28 per kilo.

I've tried my guineas on all types of grainless - and they won't eat them :))

I recommend you try and get samples if you are thinking of switching @Tiamolly123 :)

I agree with PiggyOwner, try to get samples as they're really expensive

My boys will eat Versa Laga. They'll eat a few Rosewood now and then. JR Grainless and Bunny are the work of the devil apparently and should be avoided.

I have some Bunny that I'll happily send you a sample of. It's been open a little while, but I've sealed the bag shut again as the pigs refuse it point blank. The bag is too big to send the whole lot but I'll happily send a few handfuls.
