Well I plan to have 2 only... I think my husband will kill me if I get anymore! ;D With the rats I had I started with 2 and went to 8 so I think he is worried the same thing will happen with the piggies.... ::) :)

People say i have too many but i dont and i disagree :-\ I have 25 well 24 as I'm looking after 1 and i think that is not many and they are soo spoilt :smitten:
 
Since I was 9, I've had three guinea-pigs, until i was 16. Then earlier this year I got a new baby boy and it does seem really lonely without a few of them here, not just one. Having three and then having one now, seems really odd without them all... :-\
 
I have 3 which is enough for now but i would like to add one more to my group when i build a bigger and more suitable hcuth :)
 
I had two until may this year then got another 1 then one of my originals piggies went to the rainbow bridge :( so I got another two so no I have 4
 
I have 4 at the moment but would definately have more. When we move and have more room, I would love at least 10 :smitten: :smitten:
 
i have 2 pigs, would love more but my husband would divorce me!. And i think you have to think of food, housing and of course any vet bills which could occur. it woulld be so easy for me to have loads but you do have to be sensible. (god i sound like my mum!)
 
I Have 4 At The Moment And Thats My Limit! - Unfortunately No More Room At The Inn..

I have five and thats my limit. I would not have the time for anymore to be honest.

I would be happy to keep upto 30, I used to have 50 at one stage and I felt that they didnt get the quality time they needed, espcially bubs.

I have 2 - if I nagged my husband would have space for 4... >:D

Wouldn't have any more than that though at the moment.
 
I currently have 2, but am hoping to get some more very soon. my maximum would be 10 :)
 
I think it depends a lot on the individual, I hate it when people cant look after the animals they already have (or pay to take them to the vets etc) they then buy more, or 'rescue' them, when half the time they were better off before they went home with them ::) :(

Hi there i have six at the moment unfortunatly i dont have room for any more or i would have but i do like to spend quality time with each pig every day and they are house pigs, they dont have free range of the house but they do live in the house with us so i am defo at my limit.
 
We bought 2 and got 2 free fruitcake was pregnant when we got her so we have 4, would like some more but not for awhile yet.

I bought 1 to start and then thought he would need a friend so I rescued Buffy. I read on this forum how addictive they can become but thought no I'm happy with 2.

I now have 3! Hopefully she is female and will live happily with my other 2 but if not there is the possibly I will end up with 4!
