Nutmeg, our new boy, is going in to the vets to be castrated. Hopefully is all goes according to plan, he and Tansy can be rebonded after she has her babies, will decide how we 'arrange' the babies after we know how many there are and which sex.
They were called Bobby and Betty, but I wasn't too keen and thought they deserved a new start.

Nutmeg, he is very like our first pig, Acorn.

Tansy, she has had a vet check and my vet thinks she may not be as far gone as we thought, but he is pretty sure she is pregnant.

These are both rescues who came in a couple of weeks age, they are mum and dad, and have had a litter before.

Good luck Nutmeg! My Mork has just had it done and it was scary but okay (i'm a panicker)

Best of luck for tomorrow.

All the same vet?

Yes, all my rabbit have had their ops there too. In fact, Treacle, our 6 year old dwarf lop, is in for a dental tomorrow too. I will be a worried woman until I get the phone call.

Well, Nutmeg is fine, although the vet as laughing when he called me because Nutmeg had ejaculated all over his hand during the op.:red:red:(|)

Treacle, our bun is fine too, although she will now need regular dentals due to the fact she has lost some teeth and the rest are growing squint.

OMG that was a scary title for me to read!:{ :{ :{

Sorry I gave you a fright, the vet nurse thought I was taking in the ingredients for a christmas cake this morning- Nutmeg and Treacle, I'm taking Mustard the cat in this evening, do you think I may be obsessed by food!

LOL - good names and poor vet!

Glad to hear the op all went well and fingers crossed for a speedy recovery.
