Hi all,

Any advice would be great.

The other day I picked Nutmeg up and she seems way lighter than she has been. She was always comparible in weight to Doughball but there's quite a difference now. I'd say it has happened over the last 3-4 weeks.

She is eating, but has become very very fussy. Not sure if it's just a phase. When she's playing out, she's munching away at grass, and she will eat certain things. she seems happy enough in herself as well, nothing unusual, just weight loss.

Was thinking of putting her on critical care for a week to see if i could get her a bit heavier.

Any ideas?

Thanks, Heather

That was a scary title! You really need to weigh her, (on your nice red scales) then you can monitor what the weight change is. I'm sure people will offer advice though. x

awwww look at my little nipper in your avatar. mwah xoxo

hope so, i'm little worried. need to come and get some critical care off you, and give you the pink suitcase x

Have you had her back teeth checked?

Quite often this can be the reason for weight loss combined with fussy eating!

Weight loss can be so subjective in the absence of an actual figure. How heavy is she and what is her weight history over the last month?
Her back teeth are extremely unlikely to be the cause of her problem

I agree that accurate weight tracking is useful, although the body condition is also important.

How old is Nutmeg?

she's 2.

I havent weighed them in a very long time, however they were a very similar weight last time i weighed them so i will weigh doughball and then weigh nutmeg to figure out the difference.
