Oats and Wheat...

Sometimes for a change i give my buns a small bowl of oats and shredded wheat for their dinner... Both are freed of any additives at all...

Just wondering are oats and wheat ok for piggies?

Piggy junk food, don't bother. Oats are full of carbs they don't need. Shredded wheat is the same. The best treats for pigs are fruit (occasionally) and veggies (daily).

My piglets love fresh oats:they grow underneath my bird feeder (which contains wild bird seed) from the grains that fall out. I'm not keen on weeding, obviously! Just check there's no bird poo on them.
