Oats

Abigail needs to put a little weight back on, gave her some grated sweet potato, also would like to give porridge oats would the following two options be okay?
Quaker traditional oats porridge or Quaker jumbo rolled oats porridge or is there a better option? Thank you

My guinea pigs will not touch oats,is there a way to make them more appetizing!both oat varieties will be great .

I'm sure both varieties would be fine. When mine need an extra waist boost they just have the bog standard cheapy oats from Tescos.

I give mine whichever oats were cheaper when I restocked.
I mix the oats with grated sweet potato or carrot.
I think some members add some apple too.
I’ve also read that some mix oats with Critical Care.

If I need to boost weight I also mash a small piece of banana into some Critical Care and leave a small dish of it in the cage.
