I find pigs' response to unexpected treats so funny. Last night I gave the boys a bonus bit of cucumber each. Fuzzable stared at it for a moment, then grabbed it and reversed into the hidey corner.

Popchop stared for even longer, then grabbed it and also reversed into the hidey corner and straight into Fuzzable, who pushed him back out. Then he reversed back in and was pushed back out two more times.

Accepting that he couldn't reverse, he then expressed his excitement by grabbing the cucumber slice and flinging it violently to right and left for a few moments, as if he was trying to kill it, before finally eating it.

What's the funniest way that you've seen your pigs celebrate their food?

At veg time The Ever Beautiful Betsy 🌈 used to grab any bit of veg that was offered as quickly as possible (it didn't matter what it was, if it looked like food and smelled like food, it was food), run off with it, gobble it up in about one second and come back for more. Her Husboar Dennis 🌈 was much more refined. He would gently consider which tasty bit of veg he wanted, pick it up, eat it nicely then come back for more.

When it’s cucumber the chunk is grabbed, a happy purr and taken away where no pig can steal it.
Lettuce leaf - tug of war, no matter how many leaves there are they all want the same one.

Our two were doing that earlier, even when being hand fed dandelion leaves. I hold out a leaf to each pig, and they both grab the same one and do a tug of war
