Odd Bald patch?

My Lincoln has a bald patch on his chin neck area. Its not sore or anything, just bald. Why has it gone bald? everywhere else on his body is fine and his not itching. He wasnt happy about me taking a photo as he had just got out the bath so this is the best i could get

Any ideas?
