Odd Boar Bits

I have had my gorgeous little guineas about 6 months now and am gradually coming to learn all about the wonders of owning boars. I checked both boys over this morning, but extruding reggies penis, as he sometimes gets the odd hair or bit of hay stuck there, I noticed that his 'area' in general didn't look right (or as it normally does). I check him every couple of days and usually have no problems and I am able to extrude his bits and clean him in little time. However, this morning, it wasnt visible and had to try multiple times for it to be successful. He also started squeaking and I couldn't extrude his penis as easily, with it almost seeming like it was 'stuck'. I also felt something small and hard above his penis where you would normall gently push, in his lower abdomen area.

I might be over reacting but I don't know if this is normal, so have booked an appointment with the vets this afternoon jut to be sure. I just wondered if anyone had come across this before?
 
One of mine was difficult to get his bits out, & he screamed in pain. There was no hard lumps above the penis though. NjWell done for getting him checked, if there is a problem hopefully you've caught it in time.

Best have your boy checked when in doubt; it can be a semen rod or something like that stuck in there.

Update: vet said there was nothing to worry about with this, however did find that he had a temp of 40! So gave him an injection and a course of antibiotics, and a follow up appointment in two days! X
 
What kind of injection? Please be wary in case it is steroids - always ask the bvet what they are being given.
 
It was his antibiotic, baytril in the injection, she gave him it because his temp was quite high, and it was quicker than waiting for the oral solution to take effect, then he has the oral solution of baytril for the next couple of days to see how he gets on
