Hi everyone! I've noticed something different between my two guinea pigs in the way they "talk". When Oreo is walking slowly around her house, the speed she "talks" is slow. As she speeds up or runs, she "talks" faster. Cocoa doesn't do this; he talks at the same speed regardless of how fast or slow he is moving. Does anyone have piggies that do this too? Or maybe Cocoa is the strange one.... :hmm:

Or do your piggies do strange/different things compared to your other piggies?

In the morning when mine get their pellets, Micah runs to the end of the cage where the pellets are stored on a shelf.
As soon I pick up the box he runs to the food bowl eagerly awaiting the arrival of pellets in the bowl.
I always feel as if he’s checking up to make sure I know what’s expected.

That's adorable! Right now I have a chatty pig and a quiet pig... a couple months ago we had to take both to the vet and Leela chatted away the ENTIRE car ride in the carrier and Hadley just sat there... it made me wonder if Hadley ever wants to tell Leela to just be quiet for a minute and give her some peace! LOL!

My Rainbow Piggy Handsome Silver Fox Christian (RIP) used to chunter away to himself whenever he walked anywhere. It is as if he was telling his girls that everything was alright cos he was near.

Merry talks to himself all the time, especially when he is doing something important like working on cardboard box destruction. It's like he's telling himself what he needs to do next! He does the same thing when he's eating but talking and eating makes him sneeze which used to put me in panic mode!
