Where once I was unloved, I am now surrounded by love
Where once I was uncared I am now cared for so much
Where once I was unwanted, my presence is now delighted upon
Where once I was hungry, I now have food in abundance
Where once I was lonely, I will now never be lonely again
Where once I was ill, I am cared for and nursed
Where once I was unkempt, I am now beatifically groomed
Where once I never received a cuddle, I am now showered with affection
Where once my bed was dirty and uncomfortable, I now sleep in the finest bed
Where once I felt only fear, I now feel content
Where once I had no real home, I now have a forever home.
And an owner that loves me.
