. @Wiebke said something beautiful a while ago, about remembering the special moments and happy memories as part of the grieving process and I agree, it's so important to acknowledge our sadness but also the beauty they brought to our lives too. You're certainly doing that here

What a precious guy!
Odin has certainly left you so many wonderful memories that will always have a place in your heart even though his physical presence is no longer attainable. I like to visualise my previous piggies as my little furry guardian angels that help me look after my current piggies with all that they have taught me. They are still with me in my heart and my thoughts.
We have to mourn their passing and hurt over their physical presence that is gone; but they leave behind this amazing treasure trove of memories and the richness they have brought to our life. While you can no longer touch him, Odin will always be with you. And that will never change while you live. He is part of your life and has shaped your life as much as you have shaped his.
