Off To Get New Piggies~!

My Dad and I just set up the new two tier cage... It's HUGE. XD I'm so happy, because the bases are so much bigger than the one in Fry and Laurie's current cage. I can't wait to see them running around in it.. I'll lose the use of my wall cupboard because it's so tall, though. XD And I may have difficulty getting in and out of my bedroom, but I don't care - it's a brilliant cage.

So! In a while I'll be going out with my Dad on a hunt for two lovely sows, and they'll have a week to settle in the big cage downstairs. They'll be in the living room to get used to people talking to them (other than just me), watching them, noises here and there. (But we don't use our living room much, so no noisy TV or anything really.) Then after that week, I'll be swapping the cages and I'll introduce Fry and Laurie seperately to the girls, to choose which girl shall go with which boy.

I'm very excited~! I hope that this all goes smoothly.

I'll post when I'm back with the sows, and I'll post photos. C:
 
Yay, that plan and cage sound awesome! Can't wait to see some pigtures and hear more about them!

They're here and they're gooooorgeous~!

I have one big girl, she seems on her way to becoming an adult, a Himi - who I have called Yuki.

And a little baby girl who is a tri-colour like Fry and Laurie, but where there white Dutch stripe is - her's is ginger/brown! She's so tiny and soft~! Her name is Baby, because I can't stop calling her that. XD

I've been cuddling them both and have left them to settle in. Baby is so adorable, she keps licking my hands, and she's so jumpy and lively - I've never had a guinea pig lick me before. X3 I felt so special. Yuki is very calm and plump and cuddly, she seems to love my neck, hiding herself under my hair.

They're so gorgeous! I absolutely love Baby's coloring, and himis are great too! You must be so proud ;D Where did you end up getting them from?

Himi's are just the best! and little tri-colour ones -(don't want to leave Baby in the corner ::) !) Hope they settle in well for you N x
