Eleanor is a rather hormonal guinea pig always strutting her stuff and showing dominance to Erin and Ena but never to Eliza who is my dominant girl.

Anyway, I was giving Ellie a cuddle earlier and she has two lumps on her belly :( they are on the skin but I can feel something rolling around under her skin. there isn't any fur on the lumps, just pink skin :( I have felt around the other girls and they don't have them. Eliza and Erin both have a couple if fatty lumps but Ellie's feel different.

I have made an appointment at the vets at 4.35. The lumps wasn't there a few days ago so they are relatively new. She is acting normal, eating and drinking fine. I am hoping she doesn't have Ovarian cysts but surely the lumps would be down near her back legs if that's what it was? Her nipples are healthy.

I hope it isn't anything serious :(

Fingers and paws crossed it's nothing too serious. 3 of my girls have had ovarian cysts, none of which I could feel although the vet could when they had 'a good squeeze' around the belly. Maisie had a mammary tumour/ fatty lump removed, that one was about 1cm across (felt like a marble) directly under the nipple. xx

Thank you. Eliza has a lump near her nipple but a quick check from the vet confirmed it was a fatty lump.

I don't think Ellie's are fatty lumps as they feel harder and move around under the skin x

Best of luck at the vets, hope it's nothing sinister x

Fingers crossed that they are nothing serious! Perhaps a sebaceous cyst? At least, they are loose and much more easily to remove if necessary.

Thank you. Eleanor is booked in at the vets at 8.30 tomorrow morning :( I have opted for her to have the lumps removed due to where they are located and the speed they have developed. Jonathan said she can take a friend for company so Eliza shall go with her and Erin and Ena shall stay at home. I'm so worried about the GA :( I could do without this. Poor Ellie xx

She won't be under for long Claire, try not to worry too much. It will be just tiny incisions and then the stitches, over in mins.

Sorry to read your update Claire. I'm sure Eleanor will be fine, sending positive healing vibes for the morning.

Will be thinking of you and Eleanor tomorrow. Lots of love her way x

Thank you. I am pleased I haven't left it as when Jonathan felt her lumps this morning, he mentioned they have grown slightly over night :... Whatever they are have come on so suddenly!

He said it will be after dinner time when I hear anything. Eliza is keeping her company as she is used to going to the vets. Erin and Ena are looking for their friends :(

Poor Little girly, does he have any idea what they are? Are they removing the ones on the skin or under or both? I dont suppose you got the chance to ask about ovarian cysts with the news of yesterday? x

Jonathan has just rang. Ellie is currently under and he has found another lump under her skin so he is going to remove that too :( they will all be sent off for testing.

I did ask about Ovarian cysts yesterday due to her hormonal problems but he couldn't say due to where they are located.

Any ideas what they could be? My poor girl :(
