Her name was Winnie by her previous owner but i kept forgetting and calling her Willow so she now has a double name lol

She is 8 weeks old and has fungal on one of her ears that is now under treatment - She will be kept indoors until its all cleared up, she will also be under pregnancy watch for the next 10 weeks too!

Here is the little beauty! (i apologise for the rubbish photos my camera hasn't been right since my daughter played with it!)

She's a very confident young lady, eating, drinking and popcorning despite the new sounds and surroundings.

Poor sweetie! I hope that you can get on top of the fungal well - and that the little girl is not pregnant!

I washed and moisturised her ear yesterday and it actually looks a bit better today. I've still popped a bit of canesten on though.

She's just been laying on my lap with her little legs sprawled out. You can tell she's been handled often - she's very easy to get out the cage too.

Fungal ear looking better

She's absolutely adorable - i can't wait to introduce her to Jessie.

She is absolutely lush x) Hope she gets well soon and that fungal infection clears up., looking forward to seeing more of this pretty lady

WELCOME WINNIE-WILLOW TO YOUR WONDERFUL FOREVER HOME XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

ooooooh i'm so glad her little ear is starting to heal up! well done to you and Clare!
Isn't she an ickle dot! x)x)x) i look forward to pigtures and story when she and Jessie become friends :)

good luck too on the preggers watch........ :...

Well as sore as this little ladies ear is looking she still seems incredibly happy and has an appetite that would put my other piggies to shame!

Unfortunately she has a scab under her eye this morning so it looks like it may have spread but i've already been given some advice from Clare (she is an absolute Angel) who has had a look at it for me.

The fungal does seem to be clearing up slowly.

Scabs on her bottom eyelid

I really hope this clears up quickly!

Aww, she is gorgeous! Sending her healing vibes to shift that nasty fungal soon!

Its clearing up a treat on her ears - her eye isn't looking too bad today either.

She's a very cheeky little girl.

Her piggie lips blend so well into her coat that they are impossible to spot lol

I'm currently trying to convince my hubby to let me have the wendy house for the girls as my kids don't play with it anymore.

Hopefully then if she ever got fungal again i would only have to treat her and jessie and not every one in the shed!

I'll have to work on him a bit harder i think he's usually given into me by now :))

Things aren't looking too good for Miss Winnie-Willow.

Her fungal has now cleared up, she's popcorning and she's the noisiest little thing ever.

However her belly is solid and i can feel ping pong like balls in her.

Pregnancy is highly likely :(

She will now be staying indoors until we can 100% say she is or isn't so Jessie will have to wait a little longer for her friend.

Winnie is only 11 weeks old on Monday :(

Oh the poor wee mite! But I'm sure she and the possible babies will have the best chance with your good care.

I hope so, i've been treating her as pregnant since i got her so hopefully that will pay off in the interest of her and the possibly babies.

I'm just glad the fungal has cleared up thats one less thing to worry about.

Awhh shes adoreable I just got a new guinea pig names Willow heheh it is a very beautiful name :-)

the poor little thing. i hope everything goes well for her and any babies she may have

What a little sweetie x)
So sad if she is pregnant but she's in great hands and will never suffer again :))
I have a Winnie as well, very confident and cheeky for her size :(|)

Ok can someone help with these weights i'm sure i haven't got them wrong @)

19th June 411g
23rd june 524g

That means in 4 days Winnie has put on 113g (my maths is rubbish)??

As far as i've read growing guinea pigs put on (on average) 60g per week is that right?

She's either pregnant or she's joining Jessie on the fat parade!

Ooooops i did get it wrong.

todays weight is 510g i forgot to take off the weight of the cozy.

so in 4 days she has put on 99g - is that good or bad?

I kept a note of my piggies' weights & yes they put on between 40-60g at the most every week, although Ziggy, also an Aby weighed roughly the same as Winnie at 11 weeks. If she continues to put on that amount I would say she most probably is pregnant poor little thing :...

She's certainly putting the grams on but she's not looking very pregnant - no where near pear shaped so there's still hope that she's just over indulging!

Her belly still feels firm though! I've had her 3 weeks now so i'm going to estimate that if she was pregnant she would be around 4-5 weeks.

This is her fav way of sitting down at the moment - under her left leg is where her belly feels the hardest (almost ping pong ball like)

Not pear shaped yet

If it weren't for the ear iw ouldn't know what end was what :))

She is gorgeous chick,

How are things with you and your clan? xx

I know her fur is mental!

Yea were all good this end hon, going up to Scotland soon for a weekend away - i've not left the guinea's or dogs before so i actually feel quite nervous! I've got my mum coming to look after them all though so i'm sure everything will be fine - i just hope she can cope with the chaos! lol

Hows everything your end? x

Winnie-willow has now fully recovered from the fungal infection and here's some better news - for the past 2 weeks she has only put on 40-50 grams, her belly has also gone squishy too so i'm now 100% certain that she isn't pregnant.

I attempted to introduce her to Jessie, but Jessie being the ASBO pig was having none of it. They were both fine together whilst there was veg but as soon as it ran out Jessie was straight on to the attack, by that i mean, there was no rumbling no nothing, Jessie literally just went for her without warning! {:|

Winnie Willow now lives side by side with Jessie - they get on fine through the bars and who knows once they get to know each other we may be able to get them together.

Here's some pics of the (failed) attempted bonding:
