I saw this incident happen. I watched it unfold. But I don't know how he did it.

Bann toppled himself over. Backwards.

Like I said, I watched him do it. I watched him fall. I watched him land on his back (thank <bleep> for the cushioning powers of a pile of hay) and look very confused and right himself.



Backwards. Sorry. I can't get over the fact he toppled himself backwards and I can't work out how it happened even though I saw it happen.

Tbh I think it frightened me more than it did him, he landed, righted himself, and then went back to doing whatever it was he was doing. And I stood there like

I'll be keeping an eye, but I don't think he's injured himself (thanks, hay), he was last seen turfing Cam out of the paper bag. My heart rate still refuses to settle, heh.

Was he standing on his hind legs and lost the balance? I have seen this quite a few times. Sometimes a tail would come handy.

I watched (and laughed) when I saw my Opal stand on her back legs begging for food and fall over backwards. I knew she hadnt hurt herself and she just looked so silly and cute with her big white belly

I saw the title and my immediate thought was "what's Bann done now?"

So, now that I know he's still his normal self this morning...he wasn't begging as such. He was a distance away with his back to me and I don't think he was quite close enough to the log tunnel to be using it. I think he's stood on his hind legs without anything to lean on, tried to look at me but remember, his back is to me, and gravity won that little game.

Maybe this'll stop him from trying to stand on his hind legs without anything solid to lean on? Pfft. Pigs might fly first.

Well, just had first veggies of the day and true to form, begging at the bars.

You don't need to worry about them, when they fall over while standing on their hind legs. That happens quite often if you have got enthusiastic piggies.

Oh I've no doubt now he's done it once, he'll do it again. I love him to bits but he's not a smart lad. Goodness knows what possessed him to be standing like that, where he was, in the first place though. Nopig should be begging in the middle of the cage with their back to the human they're begging from!

(edit: I've no doubt it started from him thinking I'd tossed nuggets into the cage, but my statement still stands)

I'm sure Bann knew exactely what he was doing.
But misleading piggies to think that there would be nuggets ... and then there were none, could get you into serious trouble with the GPU.
