Heart problems are quite common in guinea pigs but is frequently un/misdiagnosed. The symptoms to watch out for can all be found on www.guinealynx.info along with the diagnostics and treatments.

Rosie was young when she was first diagnosed, but she gets her meds twice a day and is a happy and healthy girl. She absolutely loves getting her evening meds with my partner Jon, who is her best pal in the whole world :)

I couldn't resist the music but I would like to add that Jon is in fact a very manly man when not cooing over our guinea pigs XD

Check out http://www.cavyspirit.com and http://www.guinealynx.info for great guinea pig care information!
