So it's Thursday morning, and that means it's weekly cleanout time! And in true Comet tradition, he's trying to give me a heart attack after I've put him on the sofa again.

I had moved him out with the carrier (Blitzen ran off, so he was still in the cage) and I'd put Comet out on the sofa with the hay already there (yes, I've learnt that lesson) and went to put the carrier back out in the hall.

Turned round to see Comet peering perilously close to the edge of the sofa, looking down at the cages below. I honestly thought the little sod was going to try and jump it. I didn't want to move either in case I startled him and he fell.

He didn't jump. He is, however, going to be the death of me one Thursday morning soon.

I love this!
One of mine - Higgins - always looks over the edge of the sofa like he's seriously contemplating, but never jumps.
The other - Gibson - he looks, and jumps. He also climbs over things and runs up seemingly vertical surfaces to get where he wants to go! Luckily he's a bit of a plodder so easy to catch up with..

Bless little Comet - he knows what he's up to ;) hehe!

Comet tried jumping over the arm of the sofa once to get at the hay bag but at least then I was _right there_ and could catch him. I can't catch him from the other side of the room unfortunately!

Yesterday at cuddletime I had Dennis out and was sat on the sofa with him on my tummy and he jumped onto the back of the sofa and then onto Daddy which wasn't a good idea as Daddy had a hot mug of tea at the time and was not expecting a Dennis. Luckily the tea didn't spill out of the mug so nobody got hurt.
