Well, like most of the people on here I'm well and truly addicted to my piggies. My boys are just ace, they've got such fab little personalities. So having spent many hours reading about everyone's stories on here I decided that I have the space / time and love to devote to more piggies. So I am now the proud piggy slave of 2 new piggies - 2 gorgeous golden agouti sisters! They seem to be settling in well, have tried to leave them alone as much as possible to get used to their new surroundings, although they are sooooo adorable it's been difficult drool I have major refurbishment plans for a room in my house to be dedicated to the piggies, and I have my eye on a lovely much larger run for the garden (which I have re-landscaped since getting the boys!). When my designs are complete I plan on getting more piggies :)
Just thought I would share this with people who will understand, as my fiance thinks I'm mad - and is "all guinea pigged out" (however I did find him fussing the boys earlier, so it must be love!)

I haven't got names for the girls yet, so any suggestions would be appreciated :)

Nomsie, Teddy, Piggle and the girls x

Post some pigtures and I'd be glad to suggest names. :) Although I warn you... I come up with some wierd names. :<>

I am looking forward to pics! Piggies are definitely addictive, and you are lucky to a have a dedicated room! I am so envious!

What about Honey and Amber for their colour?

Having a look through our rainbow pet section may also give you some inspiration!

@ Wiebke - I have had a guinea pig called Amber who's at the bridge now :(
Although I do love those names.

@ Beckwit and Jedward - I like weird names :)

I will definitely put some pigtures on later today. They are soooooooo adorable!

I always name my guinea pigs after things that are meaningful to me. My favourite male who died a few years ago was called Jacob after my favourite TV drama from the 80's called Beauty and the Beast. I named another of my guinea pigs after my estate agent JP whom we became very good friends with. I called my existing boy Yorkie after my friend Helen York and i am calling my new girl Bramley in memory of the rescue that i am getting her from Bramley Cavies as they are closing down.
That is just an example of some of my pigs so maybe you could think about that as an idea xx

I took inspiration for my 2 girls from the wife's perfume shelf in the bathroom. Which is why mine are called Lola and Angel. ;)

Just thought of some names for golden girl piggies

Peaches and Cream / Peach and Nectarine / Barley and Sugar / Custard and Cream / Golden and Syrup !

Possibly Champagne and Chardonnay - bit footballers wives?:))

Goodluck with your new additions:)

I chose my first boy who is black with white mohawk is called Zapp cos he's cool! My first girl was chocolate so we called her coco and her cage mate was cream so we went with chanel perfumes and had coco and cristelle. Then the next two were Amy after miss winehouse cos she had lots of black around her eyes and so her cage mate was Florence after the machines. We then let my son name the next three so we Jessie, Buzz and Woody. And finally Tinker. Now I have Ava for the foster piggie and once I have sexed her babies will look for apt names for them until they are rehomed. So random names from me!

I suggested a name on the other thread...

Beatrice&Eugenie rolleyes

I name my pigs after characters or people. I've had Freddie Mercury, Ringo Starr (RIP :( ), Amy Pond, River Song, Ace, Elphie and Glinda. The exception has been Nelson rolleyes

I've just started a new thread, as due to some technical difficulties I hadn't been able to get on here! Chose Hermione and Ginny for the girls, but have new additions now - one still to be named! Pigture on the new post :)
