It was outside too - Thats just bad ! :-\ Have you emailed them about this
 
Ummm... it says 'Ideal for keeping your pets happy in the cold nights and days' which is true, you have it inside to bring them in when its cold...they dont say to use it outside...whats wrong with that? ?

They have obviously had it outside as they dont use it anymore, and took a quick picture for ebay....

I dont think there is anything wrong with the listing.....I cant see someone taking that as 'keep your guineas outside in this as it has magic properties to keep them warm' to be honest ? ;D ;D

But they obviously mean in a shed.....no-one is that dumb! Sorry to those who are ( ;D)
 
just thinking i know from working in a pet shop how "dumb" people can be and i know a customer that used an indoor cage outside and then came in to say she needed a new Piggie cause hers had died, wonder why. she bought the cage off ebay and it had said in the description could use outside, hense the fact i have checked up on it since.

have emailed the seller pointing this out.

Thats what i mean they could be 'dumb' and think its for outside use - there piggies prob died too !
 
Thats very true actually Amy, it is pretty shocking! ;D ;D

Iloveanimals -You can see the hutch and hutch hugger under it, so I gather they use that when they look after someones piggies and its warm, and the cage when its cold :)

Better safe than sorry I guess ;D ;D ;D
 
A Nero 2 is nowhere near big enough for 2 pigs either! I had Cuzzy in one and it was ok for one pig that was small which he was but I had to get him a Nero 3 which is still just slightly under the 4ft by 2ft but he seems ok for now in it until I get me cubes!

I would never stick a cage outside, thats just madness, I've stuck a cage in a hutch for bonding but never in the open! Crazy that is!

5ft by 2 ft it just fitted. It was when I was trying to bond the boys into a group of three, sadly it didn't work but they seemed ok when Cuzzy was behind bars! Poor thing! So I'm going for C&C with a seperate area for the mad little thing! :D

I'm sure the person doesn't need to cause any harm but they could have worded it better :police:



I plan on building a 2 layer 5ftx2ft hutch for my pigs once my shed is ready...but currently I'm cutting away ivy cleaning etc. etc. so no way near that yet :D

Will do...I might have to get more piggies though as I think it would be a little empty for just two ^-^
