Huge issue over here at my house today. I put all of the pigs fleece beds and pads in the washer. I came back when the first cycle finished to put some more detergent in and do a second wash as I always like to do a second wash to make sure I killed off any bacteria and odor. I opened the washer and saw everything covered in some kind of whiteness. When I pulled some pads out I realized a freaking magazine must have fallen into the washer before I put everything in . An entire wet shredded magazine is covering all the fleece. When the OH came in the kitchen to see what I was doing I was nearly in tears while I was brushing the fleece beds with a corse brush which is working. At least the pigs items are salvageable, it just sucks .

Oh how annoying! Silly magazine. I hope you manage to remove it all. By the way, if you wash at 60 degrees there is no need to do a second wash. It will save you time and on the electricity bill too.

Eh, it's not the end of the world. It's brushing out and I'm on the last and largest fleece item. It's just taking a lot of time!

Oh I know it is terrible isn't it! I ended up taking the large cage liner outside to drape over my stoop banister and sweep the crap out of it. And of course when I did this all my neighbors decided to come outside lol. They probably thought I was a wild woman sweeping this pad looking thing for a half hour while sweating up a storm lol!

Also did you know when you wet and shred up a whole magazine, it becomes a nice paper mâché consistency? It's lovely

Gee thanks! Haha I know what you mean though. The neighbor right next to me was walking his dog and was like, "Hey! Don't look so happy!" Lol I was like, "A magazine fell into my washer "
Thankfully the fleece is all brushed out and clean! But everyone learn from my mistake! If you use fleece or anything, check your washer first!
