I've heard of guinea pigs popcorning and doing little hops here and there, but Caesar (black, brown in profile pic/avatar) is something else! I gave Cornelia and Caesar a bath together a couple weeks ago and Caesar jumped out of the bath multiple times! I don't think Caesar would have ANY problem jumping out of her cage if she wanted to! That's quite a leap for a pig!

It was probably throuh fear (mine hate bath time) and she could really hurt herself.
I doubt she would try to jump from her cage unless scared........

Several of mine have done that.

Dr 0:) jumped out of the bath ansd sprinted round the room covered in shampoo bubbles.

I wash mine in the kitchen sink and on several occasions they have jumped out and run around on the draining board. :)

when my partner and i bath ours in the sink we talk softly to them and whilst one holds then (gently but enough to keep them still) the other carefully pours the water over them.
Maybe they would prefer the sink because they are closer to you and it isnt so daunting!

I was definitely calm and quiet with them, but Caesar has always been skittish, so I'm guessing that's why she took it upon herself to jump out. It's quite a jump, I ought to take a picture!

The piggies cage is on the floor, so if they were "escaping", I wouldn't mind, as long as they were back home by 8pm!

Yep lets all take pictures of our animals when they are obviously distressed... 98)

I think she meant she was going to take a picture of how far her piggie jumped, not get the piggie to do it again to take a picture. That would just be mean.
