Oh the excitement!

If I put mine to bed and don't give them their dindins straight away they wheek to remind me that they haven't had their veg yet! Then when I tell them it's dindins they go completely crazy and start leaping and popcorning where they know the veggies are going to be put so that I end up emptying the dish on top of them! As @Jamston has already said funny things!

Mine can’t be bothered to wheek much for veggies at the moment.
They have freezer blocks in the cage and a fan going all the time but it’s still warm and they’re dopey.
Either that or they’re exhausted after the excitement of bonding!

Mine had to wait for 2 hours after they first smelled broccolli being chopped tonight while I cooked some in cheese and leek sauce and served it to my human house guests... the piggies were not impressed but the frenzied wheeking in the playpen provided some novel dinnertime cabaret for the visitors!

:yahoo:
I’ve just been to Tesco to do the weekly Guinea Pig shop and I got very lucky and got all this for 56p:yahoo::yahoo:
My poor partner will be hearing my about this all night!
Gosh will they eat all that in one week? How many piggy’s do you have?

I’ve learnt not to give them dinner too early because if I do they start wheeking again at 11pm when I go to bed. So basically I have to feed them and then be quiet all evening. Demanding piggies :))

They must get used to words and tones etc. When I went to pennywell farm in Devon at 5 o’clock its feeding time for the small furries and when the lady announced it over the telecom all the Guinea pigs went mad lol

I’m still bragging about it, my dad just came round and I’m making him guess how much. Imagine my glee when he guessed £5 and I told him 56p ha ha ha
You got an absolute bargain there.I used to go into Tesco at about 9 o’clock after i’d Been to see a friend in hospital and had to wait for a bus to where I live and the reductions were unbelievable.

I live in USA, and I shop at Costco for my Finn and Lara's romaine lettuce, baby spring veggies, and carrots. Portions from Costco are pretty huge, so a single bag of romaine lettuce has 5 big hearts and same with baby spring veggies and carrots.
I go to local fruit market for herbs cilantro, parsley, basil and such.

For Finn and Lara, I give them enough with three meals a day. They sometimes have unfinished veggies left over, which I throw out.

We have a Costco close by but I always end up spending lots I go there. I don’t think I’ll ever beat my 56p haul.

I tried to buy cheap veggies from local fruit market but the quality is just not there.
When I get veggies from Costco, all the veggies appear high quality and fresh. Also, because the veggies are big, they last longer as I see it.
I spend more money at Costco, but I feel they last longer.

I have to agree I spend a lot of money whenever I visit Costco.
