Oh the tension......

I was inspired by idlewildgirl to bond my three boars and I thought I would fill you all in on the current levels of tension.

Cedric came to me a while ago as a foster and he was just so chunky and laid back that I had to keep him :red (thank you Pebbles). Then when Bee had her babies we were blessed with a baby boar who was destined to become Cedrics new friend. They were introduced on Thursday and everything went really well and it was lovely to see Cedric with a new friend x).

That was all the boys we were planning of having and then I went to collect Blue and again my heart was stolen drool. After taking him to Hels I couldn't hand him over so I brought him home :red.

We introduced them all out in the run and aside from a bit of tooth chattering everything went well. Then they went in the cage and again it was fine. Now however I have put them in the run for floor time and the scuffles have started. Cedric keeps chattering but Blue is keen to be friends. Bertie is keeping both of them sweet by splitting his time between them.

At the moment they are all in different hiding areas just staring at each other!
 
hehe, thats all mine do! They only sit together when food is involved then when its finished return to their respective corners. I saw Sandy popcorning before which is a first, he looks so funny with his long hair bouncing all over the place :)
 
They are now doing some co-ordinated movements around the run through a network of tubes! Bertie is increadibly clever and is spending time with both. Blue really wants to be friends with Cedric and is quietly following him and lying next to whatever hide Cedric is in!
 
Aww! I really hope that Cedric accepts Blue as a buddy. It sounds very sweet that he's trying so hard to make friends (with little Bertie's help!)

I hope it works for them all :)
 
I hope that it will work out and that Cedric's heart will melt, too!
 
After their intense movements they are all around the run sleeping. Their hearts are not in fighting I have faith they will all get on!

Anyways, fingers crossed it stays calm for these three :)
 
So far so good, there is a truce between them!
 
Keeping everything crossed that the 3 amigos become best buddies!x) We had a trio and it was lovely watching them together, I really miss my boys.:(
 
I just put them out for floor time and Cedric and Blue were sharing hay and carrots (even though there are piles all over) it all seemed to be going well and then they just started scuffling. All is quiet now and they have returned to their corners.
 
No chattering of teeth or scuffles today, in fact they are all playing together!
 
I hope that it is still working out today!
